Oda Mason (1885-1974) moved to Laramie, Wyoming, in 1892. He worked for several ranches before acquiring his own land around 1916. He owned two ranches in Albany County, Wyoming, the Mason Ranch on the Big Laramie River, and the Dinwiddie Ranch in Centennial Valley.
